The cottages
The twin independent cottages are opposite each other, connected by a bridge. Each cottage is a fully furnished independent living block. However, the proximity of the cottages allow a family or group of friends to live together, with relative independence.
The space and facilities
Each cottage is designed and furnished to comfortably house a couple or a small family. It is designed in the most organic way possible, using local material. It is not a typical hotel room with star amenities but a conventional mountain home which is rustic, warm and comfortable. It is a space designed to be your cozy corner in this fast paced world.
LIVING ROOM
The living room on the ground floor has a box bed, a study table and a spacious cupboard. The flooring is of local stone.
BEDROOM
The bedroom on the first floor has floor arrangement with a double mattress. The room also has a book shelve and a cupboard.
KITCHEN
Kitchen is equipped with necessary utensils along with LPG stove, induction stove, mini refrigerator and wash basin.
TOILET
The toilet has a western commode, washbasin and bathing area. There are separate taps for cold and hot water. Hot water is made available via dedicated solar geyser.
WATER & ELECTRICITY
24 hour water supply. Drinking water from local spring is supplied separately. Inverter based power backup. However one can not rule out breakdown in case of extreme weather.
INTERNET
We have a wifi connection though the internet speed is not as one expects in a city. If you have Airtel or BSNL connections then your own internet connection would serve you well.
FOOD
In case you do not want to cook your food, on regular or permanent basis, then you can avail the tiffin service. Please contact to discuss costs.
PETS
Pets are allowed in the cottages provided you ensure that the pet does not damage the property. The security of the pet would also be your responsibility.
PARKING
We are off the main road, connected via kuchcha road which is around 1.5 Kms long. We have ample parking space at our farm.
HOUSE KEEPING
Our team will regularly clean the room. This does not include folding clothes and doing beds. Bed sheets and covers would be replaced as per need.
UTENSILS & LAUNDRY
Help is available for washing utensils – typically once a day. The stay charges are inclusive of this service. Laundry would be charged extra.
ART CRAFT ESSENTIALS
There are many arts and crafts tools available for use. This includes easels, sewing machine, wood and stone working tools (not the power tools), etc.
Money matters
These charges are applicable for two adults staying in a cottage. Accompanying children under the age of 12, staying with parents, is inclusive in the charges. The cost includes water and electricity charges, cooking gas, cleaning of utensil and housekeeping. The cost does not include food, food supplies, or laundry.
Cancellation policy – 90% refund if cancelled 30 days in advance. 50% refund if cancelled between 15-30 days. No refund if cancelled in less than 15 days, or in case of no show.

You can either contact us to book your stay directly, or book via AirBnB. The cottages are listed as Amaranth and Buckwheat.
House rules
- No smoking inside the cottage.
- No loud music and angry conversation
- No use of foul language or abuses
- Possibly avoid conversations around politics and religion
- And if you believe in caste system, its best to avoid coming here.
