How to reach
Manakaar farm is located 15 Kms ahead of Almora (Uttarakhand), in the vicinity of Kasardevi ridge and Binsar forest reserve. The village is called Salla and our land is locally known as Ghantyani.

We are around 2 Kms away from the main road, connected via a kuccha road. While small cars and SUVs manage well, driving a sedan could be tricky.
By train
The nearest railway station is Haldwani /Kathgodam, which is approximately 100 Kms away from our farm. From there, one can book a cab. The travel time is approximately 3-4 hours, if one drives with breaks.

There are many direct trains to Haldwani /Kathgodam from Delhi and Lucknow.
By air
The nearest airport is Pantnagar, but its a small airport which is not so well connected. Alternate option is to fly down to Bareilly and then take a cab to the farm. Bareilly is around 2-3 hours away from Haldwani/Kathgodam.

An alternate option is to fly to Dehradun and then reach Almora using local Helicopter services.
By road
Haldwani/Kathgodam is the entry point to our part of Kumaon hills. Kathgodam is located at a distance of 300 Kms from Delhi. To reach Manakaar, one will have to drive via Bhimtal, Bhowali, Kainchi, Khairna, and Almora.

One can avoid the traffic at Kainchi by driving via Ramgarh and Nathuakhan. The road will take you to Kwarab, from where you reach Manakaar via Almora. This route is about half and hour longer but hassle-free.
